Currently, Japanese animated Dragonball Z, and Poke`mon vie for the attention of children ages 2-8 years old, as well as such icons as the Power Rangers, and the Power Puff Girls. While the super hero genre in Christian educational entertainment, compared to pop culture, is particularly sparse.

The Chozen-4 is a multi-ethnic group of heroes whose purpose is to teach and demonstrate biblical principles. The Chozen-4 coloring book is also an evangelical tool meant to arrest the attention of elementary age children currently influenced by pop culture. Each hero has a name that reflects the character of a Bible hero: Hezekiah - the leader, trusting the Lord in all things; Isaiah - the God inspired counselor, vigilant of injustice; Deborah - the bold prophetess, claiming victory with her song of praise; Jeremiah - the faithful, herald of divine punishment.

For easy audience understanding we have utilized scriptures from the Holy Bible, New Living Translation (Tyndale house Pub.) and the New International Version (Zondervan Pub. House). A colorable scripture page flanks the left page, while offset on the right page is an illustration of the heroes putting the principle into action. The title is intriguing and invites investigation from Christian an non-Christian parents and children.
